International project »Joint Effort for Honey Bee Conservation and Selection – BeeConSel«, contract no. 2018-1-0477, is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through EEA and Norway grants Fund for regional cooperation. Agricultural Institute of Slovenia leads the diverse consortium of Norwegian Beekeepers’ Association, Swedish Agriculture University and two non-academic partners, CARPEA from Northern Macedonia and CALS from Croatia, both SMEs involved in research. Project duration is 39 months, and its total budget is 1.8M EUR. The EEA and Norway grants Fund for regional cooperation contributes 1.65M EUR.
